There's One Person Behind This

Shawn Snarski - SEO since 1998, two years of building, deep in the Maine woods

Hello - I'm Shawn

SEOLinkMap is designed, built, and run by one person: me. Every crawler, every formula, every sentence the tools hand you comes from code I wrote.

I've been building and ranking websites since 1998 - my own and other people's. The last two of those years went into what you're looking at now: the whole SEO lifecycle in one place, computed from measured data, explained in plain English.

One builder isn't a limitation here - it's why the tools agree with each other. One set of hands, one standard for what counts as evidence, applied everywhere.

The Track Record

2005-2012 - AutoMapIt.com

When Google introduced Sitemaps, the tools that existed made you install a script or run a download. AutoMapIt was the first sitemap generator delivered as a hosted service - launched the same year as the protocol, and included in SEO For Dummies.

Those credentials belong to AutoMapIt and its era. Every tool earns its own - SEOLinkMap has to earn this one.

2012 - Securimate, Acquired by Diligent

I let AutoMapIt go to help build Securimate - part of the team from the garage to the world scene, start to finish, until Diligent Corporation acquired it as part of their GRC platform.

Compliance software for people whose data absolutely cannot leak teaches habits that stick.

Now - SEOLinkMap and Comptrio

Alongside SEOLinkMap I build FactoryOS at Comptrio.com - an AI operating system for businesses that keep other people's secrets and run on their own local hardware.

The same instinct runs through both: your data is yours, and it stays where you put it.

Why the Tools Read the Way They Do

Math First

Every answer starts as arithmetic over measured data - the pages that actually rank, the bands they sit inside, where you fall outside them.

Nothing here is a model's opinion. The same inputs produce the same outputs, which is why the findings hold up when someone pushes back.

Sentences Without an LLM

The plain-English findings are written deterministically from the numbers - a grammar I built, not a language model guessing.

When a tool tells you "leave it alone," that came out of the math, and it will say it again tomorrow.

Your Data Stays Yours

No contracts holding your data hostage, no artificial barriers to leaving.

When you connect Search Console or GA4, you know exactly who is on the other end - and you can disconnect any time.

Where This Happens

SEOLinkMap is written in the backwoods of Maine, in mixed pine and hardwood forest along the Penobscot River. The neighbors are bear, moose, bald eagles, and wild turkey. It turns out to be a very good place to think about graphs.

If you write in, the person who answers is the person who wrote the code. That's the whole org chart.
