SEO Agency Tools With No Per-Seat Fees
Chat, a Shared Calendar and Roles on Every Plan
Add as many teammates as you want on any SEOLinkMap plan, the free one included. Each person gets a role, a chat room for every project, and the same calendar. Your bill stays the same when the team grows.
What Adding a Teammate Costs
Nothing. Seats are unlimited on all three plans. What changes between plans is how many sites you can track and how often they are crawled.
Basic Access
3 projects, 500 pages each, crawled monthly. Data is removed after 30 days without a login.
Professional
10 projects, 10,000 pages each, crawled daily. Adds credits and the research tools.
Agency Access
50 projects, 50,000 pages each, crawled hourly. First in every queue, with the highest API limits.
Full limits and credit prices are on the pricing page.
How Team Setup Works
You add people from the Manage Users page, and chat switches on when the second person joins.
Add a Teammate
Enter a name, an email address and a role. We email them a link to choose their own password and join your team.
Chat Turns On
Once the account has two people, a chat icon appears in the top bar. Every project already has a room waiting.
Adjust Permissions
Each role comes with defaults. On the Permissions page you can change what a role can do in your account, or change it for one person.
Which Roles Come Built In
Five of them: Owner, Manager, User, Billing and Read only. Every person holds exactly one.
Owner
Full access. No one else can change the owner's role or permissions or remove the account, and changing an owner goes through support@seolinkmap.com, requested from an owner's email address.
Manager
Full access except billing and ownership transfer.
User
Works inside projects. Cannot manage people or billing.
Billing
Billing, credits and invoices only.
Read only
Can view everything and change nothing.
Each permission has three settings: allow, deny, or inherit. A change to a role applies to everyone holding it in your account, and a change to a person overrides their role. You cannot add a sixth role at this time, so an unusual job is a role plus a few personal overrides.
How Team Chat Works
Chat is organized by project. Each project gets its own room automatically, and every teammate is a member of it.
Each teammate also has a room under their own name. Beyond that, start as many threads as you want: name each one, choose who is in it, and make it public or private.
Messages arrive live while you are in the app, and a dot on the chat icon marks unread ones. Chat keeps 30 days of messages, so anything that has to last belongs in a calendar note.
What the Shared Calendar Holds
Notes, milestones, reminders and appointments, each one optionally tied to a project. Entries are shared across the account, so the whole team sees the same month, shown in each person's own time zone.
Reminders repeat daily, on weekdays, weekly, monthly or yearly, at any interval such as every two weeks. They can stop after a set number of runs or on an end date.
A due reminder pops up in the app for the person who set it, as a small notice or a full dialog. Reminders are checked every 30 minutes on the free plan, every 10 on Professional and every 5 on Agency Access.
Where Team Notifications Go
Into the app first, and on a paid plan to your team's chat tool when nobody saw them there. Finished crawls, research and audits can post to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord or any webhook URL after sitting unseen for 5 minutes.
Private items stay private. Chat messages and calendar reminders never go to a shared channel, and with the Slack app connected they reach only the recipient, as a direct message.
Where Clients Fit In
Clients do not take a seat. A share link opens a project's LinkMap and report in the browser with no login, and it stops working when it expires.
Help Setting Up Your Team
Ask and we will walk you through setup. That covers mapping roles and permissions to how your agency is organized, and moving your team's workflow over from the chat and calendar tools you use now.
What We Are Promising
And what we are not
What you get
Unlimited seats on every plan. Five roles, with permissions you can change per role or per person. A chat room for every project and a calendar the whole team shares.
Adding a person never changes your bill.
What this does not do
Chat is text only, with no file attachments, and it keeps 30 days of history. Reminders show in the app, and outside it only through Slack on a paid plan. There is no sync with Google Calendar or Outlook at this time.
What we are saying: the team talks about the work next to the work, and the price does not count heads.
